Summary
A sandbox is a temporary testing environment for assessing and learning DX8. Sandboxes last for two weeks. When a sandbox expires, it is permanently removed from our servers and any work is not recoverable.
What is a DX8 sandbox?
Our sandboxes are temporary testing grounds for you to experience the DX8 platform for yourself in a safe and convenient environment. We host these sandboxes ourselves, so all you need are login credentials and a link to the sandbox URL to get started.
How do I get a DX8 sandbox?
DX8 sandboxes are for those who want to assess DX8, or have purchased a DX8 license and require a temporary training environment before setting up DX8 locally. If you would like to try DX8 then get in touch with our Sales Team by filling in our demo form here: https://www.cohesiondx.com/get-demo
How long will my sandbox last?
Our sandboxes last for two weeks by default. If you require additional time, just let us know. We can't extend a sandbox permanently, but we can create you a new one if yours expires.
Will my sandbox expire when it runs out of time?
Yes. Our sandboxes are only meant as a temporary testing ground and, as such, will expire after two weeks. We can extend your sandbox for a limited amount of time if you require.
What happens to the work I have done on my sandbox when it expires?
When a sandbox expires, it is permanently removed from our servers and any work is not recoverable.
Because our sandboxes are designed to be ephemeral by nature, we do not back them up.
Any work you do on a sandbox should be done with this in mind. We strongly advise against building anything extensive or time intensive in the sandbox.
What sandboxes are available?
We have two different sandboxes available. One is a training environment designed to help you follow our learning videos, and the other is a demonstration website.
I have a question about my sandbox that isn't listed here
